杜牙根 is a procedure used to save teeth that are badly decayed or infected. It can be caused by deep tooth decay, repeated dental procedures on the tooth, cracked fillings, or an injury to the tooth.

杜牙根 have a high success rate, and many patients experience only mild side effects. However, you may have swelling and soreness in the gums after a root canal. This should disappear within a few days.

If your tooth is severely damaged or infected, you need a root canal. Regular dental cleanings and fillings cannot save a tooth with an infected or damaged pulp, so a 杜牙根 is the only way to remove the pulp and keep your natural tooth.

During root canal therapy, your dentist uses local anesthesia to numb the tooth and surrounding gums. Then, a small hole is made in the top of your tooth (this is the access for your root canals).

Next, the inside of the tooth is cleaned and dried, using special instruments and irrigation solutions. Then, a biocompatible material called gutta percha is placed into your canals and sealed with adhesive cement.

After the procedure, you will need to return to your dentist’s office for the final step, which is a restoration to protect and restore your tooth. This may include a crown, crown and post, or other restoration to protect the tooth, prevent it from breaking, and return it to full function.

The treatment typically takes one to three visits and is performed comfortably by our experienced dentist. Our dentist will determine the best option for you based on your particular tooth and your specific needs.
Root Canal Treatment

A root canal treatment is needed when the pulp, the centre of a tooth containing blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue, becomes infected. This is common after a dental injury or deep decay that can reach all the way to the inner layers of your tooth.

Infected pulp usually causes a lot of pain and swelling. It can also damage the bone around the tooth, causing it to feel loose.

The best place to get help with tooth pain and infections is your dentist. They’re experts in root canal treatment and will be able to advise you on what to do.

Your dentist will give you a local anesthetic to numb your teeth and make the procedure easier for you. The treatment itself involves cleaning and removing the infected area from the inside of your tooth with special files.

After the procedure is finished, a biocompatible material is placed in the root canal to seal it. Then your dentist will decide whether to place a permanent filling or crown on the tooth to protect it.

Your treated tooth should be functional for a long time, provided that you maintain good oral hygiene and avoid consuming sugary foods and drinks. However, even the most successful root canal therapy will eventually wear out if you don’t maintain good oral health.

A root canal is a type of dental treatment that removes the infection from inside the root of a tooth. A tooth's inner structure, called the pulp, can become infected if harmful bacteria invade the tooth's root. Occasionally, this happens because of deep cavities or unexpected injuries.

A dentist will numb the area of the tooth that needs treatment, and then open up the tooth's crown to access the root. He or she will then carefully remove the damaged pulp, clean and disinfect the canals of the tooth, and enlarge the canals to make them a regular shape so that they can be filled. This process usually takes several hours, and may need to be done over a number of visits.

Once the treatment has been completed, a filling or dental crown will be placed to protect the treated tooth. This procedure is commonly referred to as endodontic therapy, and is an effective treatment that has saved many teeth from extraction. If you have a serious tooth infection, root canal treatment is an excellent option to save your natural tooth.
